A vehicle collided with the bus in Woodlands on Thursday morning (September 1st), killing one person and injuring nine. The collision happened at 6:10 AM near the intersection Woodlands 9 Ave, Woodlands 4 Ave.
How was the accident caused?
According to reports, a car collided into a bus after its driver ran a stop sign. Tower Transit bus was turning right when it was struck by a yellow Honda car. Just before the collision, a red light was run by the driver of the car.
SCDF has confirmed that they were notified by the SCDF of the incident at Woodlands Ave. 9 and Woodlands Ave. Paramedics reported that at least one person was declared dead on the spot. They believe it to have been the Honda driver.
