Final Fantasy XI’s release date was 2002. It will be 2022. Square Enix created a new website to commemorate the anniversary. The website’s name is “We Are Vana’Diel” and includes a countdown feature that will help players track the anniversary. It shows the exact date and what the anniversary celebration will be like.
At the time of launching this website, the producer of Final Fantasy XI stated that Final Fantasy XI enthusiasts would be able enjoy the game in a new environment thanks to this engaging platform.
Its mission is to share stories from the adventures of those who have been part of Final Fantasy over the past 20 years to encourage the next generation to embark on their journey through the FFXIV world. Producer said that the website was the journey of all adventurers. “We Are Vana’Diel” will celebrate everyone, including developers and operators of the game as well players who log in daily for more than two decades.
At the moment, content on the website can be accessed in English or Japanese. A built-in art gallery showcases various volumes of art that capture the essence of the game. To discuss everything within the game, new volumes are being created. Through social media, you can share any information in the history section with your friends and family.
You can also find other components on the website such as “We discuss Vana’Diel,” “We Illustrate Vana’Diel,” and “We Remember Vana’Diel” to discuss everything. It includes a timeline listing all the events from Final Fantasy XI’s beta test to today.
Official commentary and insight will allow you to get behind the scenes information. According to the producer, the timeline will also contain player-oriented events that players can view from their perspective. This will offer new players a unique opportunity to find out more about Final Fantasy XI, and how it has performed over the years.
Story Missions
Once the main storyline has been completed, players will be able to access various items, equipment, and areas. Final Fantasy XI’s entire story revolves around three gateguards who will assign you missions. The game gives you the ability to increase your nation rank by completing additional missions.
While the stories of Final Fantasy games are all different, they all have a final boss that you must fight once your rank has reached six. Final Fantasy XI’s “Rise of the Zilart”, a new expansion, offers new direction to the stories of all the nations.
The expansion pack will allow you to create a completely customizable character. You can choose everything from your race, gender, and body style. The game has three cities where you start your adventure. However, you can change the city at any time.
There are many non-playing characters as well as cities that offer quests that will help you progress the main storyline. Each expansion introduces new twists to your story. After completing these missions you will be rewarded with items, ranks, and access to new areas. These rewards can also lead to advancements in the story.
Once the main storyline has been completed, players will find a separate world with quests. You can gain fame by completing side quests that will increase your fame. This system alters the interactions between NPCs and your character. You can earn FFXI gil but it’s not easy.
Playable Races
Five player races are featured in the game, including Humes and Galka. Humes is the most popular race in the game and is found in the Gustaberg slums. This class has similar abilities to all others, and doesn’t possess any special physical abilities. Because of their ability to adapt to all environments, they have become a popular class across the globe in a very short time. They are the most populous of all races.
Galka is considered the second-best, but their story is very sad. They had to flee their home country after being attacked by Anticans several centuries back. Galka’s bulky physique makes them an intimidating race. Bastok was their final destination. Here they are awarded the title of second-class citizen.
Galkas are men and all members of this class are male. They use reincarnation for reproduction and to increase their population. Although they have a lot of health and vitality, they are still cursed by the sins of rage.
Job System
Final XI has a lot of job opportunities. There are more than 22 jobs available throughout the game. There is no need to worry about what your class or character looks like when you take up a job. To change your job, you can go to the designated location on the map.
To unlock more advanced jobs, you’ll need to work your path to level thirty. At the start, there will be six jobs. Each job you are offered will give you certain skills and traits. You can work hard to improve these abilities and traits over time. You will be able use magic scrolls to get faster and better results after you have reached a certain level.
