After this announcement, Nicholas Kole who is the lead character designer for the Spyro Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4 stated-
He and the rest of the team working on Warzone currently and have now been let go from the original studio.
We are assuming that this move to Warzone may be temporary. This is just telling that it’s not clear if it’ll affect the development and release date of the upcoming game.

YouTuber Canadian Guy eh post on Reddit state that at Beenox Spyro 4’s development began last year.
This information tells that the game is being developed in Unreal Engine 4, offers returning characters, and some RPG elements. Even the post tells us that it was originally in development at Vicarious Visions.
