When will The Wolf Among Us 2 release?
Starting from scratch is a difficult task, but LCG Entertainment wanted to provide the creative team with a blank canvas to work with. The company has confirmed that the work done by the original Telltale team before the studio’s closure will not be included in the game. The new unit has also abandoned the ageing Telltale Tool, revealing that The Wolf Among Us 2 is built with Unreal Engine.
How long does it take to create a title for The Wolf Among Us? The circumstances make that difficult to determine. While some fans hope to return to Fabletown sooner rather than later, the game is unlikely to be released until early 2021. At least one alleged leak supports this theory, with a now-deleted Reddit user providing an overview of Telltale Games’ current state of development.

The trailer that revealed the resurrected The Wolf Among Us 2 is only 47 seconds long, but it was enough to get fans excited. The original game’s moody, neon-lit noir style brought back pleasant memories. Narrated by Snow White’s familiar voice, she begs Bigby to become the big bad wolf once more. Can she rely on him?
“Always,” he says. While this doesn’t reveal much about the sequel, LCG has confirmed that Snow and Bigby’s original voice actors will return. Fans were relieved to hear the news: Bigby Wolf has a distinct voice, and they don’t want anyone other than the talented Adam Harrington to deliver his stern dialogue.
What platforms will The Wolf Among Us 2 be on?
When The Wolf Among Us 2 is released, how will you be able to play it? If you’re a PC user, you’ll need to download the Epic Games Store. Unlike its predecessor, the new Telltale has an exclusive deal with the storefront for this title, so it will not be available on Steam.
Console gamers will not be left out. According to LCG Entertainment, the game will be released on consoles. There’s no evidence that The Wolf Among Us 2 will be a next-generation console title; the cell-shaded comic book style, after all, isn’t too demanding in terms of graphics. You’ll have to wait for word from Telltale, but it’s unlikely that you’ll need to purchase the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X to continue Bigby Wolf’s story.
What’s the story of The Wolf Among Us 2?
The Wolf Among Us franchise is based on Bill Willingham’s Fables comic book series. Both games are canon prequels, taking place approximately twenty years before the events of the comics. The events of the first game, and presumably the second, take place in the 1980s. It appears that ’80s nostalgia is popular these days.
The Wolf Among Us 2 will pick up where the first game left off. Snow White has been promoted to the deputy mayor, and she has a job for Bigby. He’ll have to go back to his old, brutal ways to finish this job — whatever it is. The original certainly left some loose ends for you to pick at (who exactly is Nerissa?) However, Telltale has remained tight-lipped about the new title’s plot thus far. The Wolf Among Us 2 will occur throughout several episodes, though it is unclear when those episodes will be released.
