TenSura known more popularly as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, is a 2018 released anime series that is based on the manga series of the same name. The animation for the series has been done by Eight Bit, with Yasuhito Kikuchi at the helm as director and Atsushi Nakayama as assistant director. The series composition has been handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, while character designs have been done by Ryouma Ebata.
The series premiered on October 5, 2018, with its first season which concluded on March 22, 2019. Part one of the second season premiered on January 12, 2021, and ended on March 30. Part two resumed on July 6, 2021, and has released 5 episodes thus far. With the sixth episode gearing up for release, fans are awaiting a final word regarding its release date.

The premise of the series revolves around a 37-year-old corporate worker by the name of Satoru Mikami, who is living a life of contentment. One fine day, however, he gets stabbed by an assailant and as he succumbs to his wounds, he hears a series of incomprehensible commands being recited by a mysterious voice. He wakes up to find that he has been reincarnated as a Slime in another world and also possesses certain powers. What lies ahead in this newfound life of his forms the base for the proceedings of the series.
