On 15th February , Levi’s launched its men’s and women’s clothing merchandise in collaboration with Pokemon, 90s famous animated show that follows the story of characters Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu around the world. The collaboration marks the 25th anniversary of the iconic series. It offers denim, Tshirts, sweatshirts, beanies, hats, bags and much more.
Levi’s always has a surprise for its customers with quirky collaborations. Showing its pop culture love and eccentricities, Levi’s has already featured Mickey Mouse and friends, Hello Kitty, Peanuts, Star Wars and many more.

“It’s so fun to hear people talk about their love of Pokémon,” said Karyn Hillman, Levi’s chief product officer. “Everyone has their favorite. So the fact that we had this ability to play and create with so many iconic Pokémon and characters was really a special experience. It’s such a thoughtful collection that respects and celebrates the world of Pokémon, and it was so cool mixing our icons and history with theirs—it’s nostalgic and optimistic, with a little bit of escapism.”

The Levi’s x Pokémon collection will be available on Levi.com, the Levi’s App, in Levi’s stores, and in select stores. The products were launched worldwide on the official website of Levi’s.

The Pokemon universe revolves around Pikachu and his human friend Ash, and so does the new merchandise. Pikachu appears on 90s-style stonewash 551 straight leg jeans and a Vintage Fit Trucker jacket, Shirt and sweatshirts.
Also, one may not be able to resist getting the jeans and denim jacket on which all the 150 original creatures of the series show up. You can get your hands on an Ash Ketchum style hat and a Pokébag shoulder bag. Other exciting products include Jigglypuff beanie and Pikachu ears cap.

Pokemon is a well known franchise. It has been around for more than two decades. Its craze is not only limited to just a show for kids. Poké universe has its own game, toys and unlimited merchandise. 

Pokemon merchandise is strange but exciting. Nestle has partnered with Pokemon in Taiwan, to create Pokemon milk. Metapod sleeping bags were also released last year.
