Glendyn Ivin’s movie ‘PENGUIN BLOOM’ starring Naomi Watts, Andrew Lincoln, Jacki Weaver which is streaming on Netflix. Penguin Bloom is based on real-life and written by Shaun Grant and Harry Cripps – “Penguin the Magpie: The Odd Little bird who saved a family” which was published on 21st March 2016.
Penguin Bloom is about a mom and a wife who copes with the repercussions of a harrowing accident. She was inspired by an injured magpie taken in by her family.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
This movie is heartfelt, inspiring and emotional. Samantha Bloom and her family were on vacation when she suffered an unfortunate accident and fractured her skull, disrupted her lungs and shattered her spine. The movie follows after the months of an accident where her family struggles to adjust the new normal. Bloom is distressed and had cut off herself from her loved ones as she has been paralyzed from the chest down and is using wheelchair which made her dependent on her family, but soon her life starts to take a turn and things started getting better when she gets inspired by an injured baby magpie named ‘Penguin’ which was brought in by her family.
