When caught by Catherine’s husband almost naked in their house, Nate is thrown out and he roams on the streets naked and asks Serena for help.
Chuck spends his summer dating other women and prepares to impress Blair. Blair on her return is seen with a new man James. During lunch at the Hampton’s house it is revealed that Blair had conflicted feeling for Chuck leaving her for travel plans.
Jenny in her internship faces difficulties as she is subjected to unreasonable amount of work. Dan and Serena faces the hazards of breaking up. Dan is uninspired throughout his internship with Jeremiah Harris because of his break up. At the end of the episode CeCe forces them to start talking again and they sweep their differences off and watch firework together from a distance.
