Google Chrome:
So the latest update for Chrome came this year on all platforms and it is also different varying the platform you use. These versions for all the different platforms were released on March this year.

How to Download:
To update Google Chrome:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More, on the top right of your screen
- Click Update Google Chrome
- Click Relaunch.
Note: Google Chrome’s update gets automatically download on the background when close your app so you don’t find ‘update’ option in you more section that means it is already updates and you’re on the latest version.
Chromebook & Chrome OS:
Just like Google Chrome, Chromebook also gets updated automatically for giving you the best experience without any hassle. Chromebook announced it’s new update on 18th March 2020 which is their ’10th birthday update’.

Google made a lot changes on this Chromebook based on all the feedbacks collected by the consumers over the course of time provding them with their best version till date making their experience with the OS more convenient .
New Features :
1. PhoneHub :
This is basically a much-needed link between your devices, so you can now get all the information you need from your android on your chromebook from battery life to cellular signal, you can reply to texts just to name a few and one of the great features it now your Chromebook will automatically get connected to all the Wi-Fi networks you have connected with you android automatically, that’s really cool and it’s called ‘Wi-Fi sync’.
2. Screen Capture :
Now you can easily record your screen with the new screen capture which will be available to you in the Quick Settings menu.
3. Tote:
So Tote is the new space in Shelf of your chromebook where now you can get access to all your important documents and download, all your recent downloads, screen recordings will be present here.
4. New Clipboard :
Chromebook now has a new clipboard that will save your last five copied items from which you can now choose anytime, without wasting your time on switching between windows.
5. Quick Answers:
This is also another cool feature that will automatically provide you with all necessary information just as you right click a word it’ll give you translation, definition etc.

How to Download:
- Turn on your Chromebook, make sure you’ve stable internet connection
- Select Settings
- At the bottom of the left panel you’ll find About Chrome OS, click that
- Under ‘Google Chrome OS’ you’ll get your Chromebook’s OS version
- Select Check for updates
- If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically
