Once again a storm of grief has hit the football community with the passing of Jackson, an American Professional football player. Born in January 14, 1983 Vincent Terrell Jackson was an American Professional Football Player who played 12 seasons for the NFL(National Football League).

Selected in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft(the highest ever by a Northern Colorado graduate), Jackson started building a decent reputation, but unfortunately was on a slow start in 2005 due to injuries.However he finally played his first NFL in September, emerging victorious over the Tennessee Titans. He also proved to be a great asset in recent NFL history after making a 13-yard catch on fourth down. The former American Footballer faced many difficulties in his life but emerged victorious in all of them, his story is very inspiring.

He had a very strong personality and similar to the personality he also had a strong game. He finished a game with 7 receptions for 111 yards, which made him the first receiver of the 2009 NFL season to record a 100 yard game.Apart from his wonderful career he also got the Chargers’ Franchise tag placed on him, not only he stopped here, he was also selected as one of the 2013 team captains, following which he was selected as the team captain on September 7, 2012.

He also set multiple records , with the longest reception and longest play from scrimmage in Tampa Bay History, and the most receiving yards in a single game.He was found dead on February 15, 2021. A housekeeper spotted him dead in a room at Homewood Suites near Brandon, Florida. He was 38 years old. There were no signs that he was personally disturbed according to what the officials said.There were no signs of any damage or trauma.
