Post PUBG ban in India, many users or players of the game were left disheartened. During Covid-19 outbreak, PUBG was a medium to kill boredom for large group of population of India. Over 175 million installations of the app were reported from India, which makes up to 27% market of the app worldwide.
Release of BGMI in India
Losing a large market of users was a blow to the PUBG company, hence they decided to accept certain policies laid by the government of the India. They made changes in the game and on 2 July 2021, a replica or a better version of the PUBG was launched. The new version was called Battlegrounds Mobile India.

This version reminds the users of the screen time, their posture and has other changes is terminology such as the word ‘kill’ has been replaced with ‘finish’. And blood is denoted by blue and green colour.
Battlegrounds mobile India iOS Version release date
However to the dismay of iOS users, the BGMI has been released for android users only. Since July, the iOS users have been eagerly waiting for the news from the developers KRAFTON regarding the release of iOS version.
Though no official announcement or statement has been made, it is being speculated by the iOS users that the Battleground Mobile India, will soon be available on the App Store as well. It is being rumoured that the app will be available on App Store this August 2021.
