List of Marvel Cinematic Upcoming Movies To Watch In 2021-2022

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown to become the most successful superhero film franchise in history, dominating the international box office with each new release, yet the MCU does not cover all of the Marvel films scheduled for release between 2021 and 2023. Some Marvel properties are still owned by 20th Century Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures Entertainment, and while there have been numerous hints that some of Sony’s films may be included in the MCU, this has yet to be confirmed. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Marvel and the MCU had to postpone numerous films in 2020, but they are back in full force in 2021.List of Marvel Cinematic Upcoming Movies To Watch In 2021-2022

Despite Marvel’s announcement in October 2021 that five of their planned films will be delayed, there are still a lot of films to look forward to from late 2021 through 2023, with 2022 already looking to be a particularly busy year for Marvel releases. Aside from the scheduled films, there are plans for further spinoffs, reboots, and sequels in the not-too-distant future.

For years, critics have expressed concerns that the MCU’s popularity, as well as the steady supply of Marvel and DC superhero films, could be a transitory fad. Marvel’s releases, on the other hand, show no signs of slowing down, and DC is pushing up its productions with new angles highlighted in the 2021 DC FanDome for the DCEU and beyond, demonstrating that they know how to play to their strengths. Although it has been years since the release of Avengers: Endgame on the big screen, producers, executives, and investors are unlikely to forget the actual power of superhero films after the film’s record-breaking $1.2 billion opening weekend.

Disney can be trusted to continue the heightened development of their Marvel IPs in the post-pandemic future, alongside the other studios that have managed to retain the rights to some Marvel franchises and appear to be working closely with Marvel in the future.
