Kanye West, or Kanye Omari west, is an American singer, rapper, politician, businessman and songwriter and record producer. He’s mainly recognised with hip-hop culture and popular music. He’s a Grammy awardee artist. He has total of 22 Grammy awards.
Career
West began his early production career in 1990s. He started creating beats for local artists. His first official track released in 1996, when he was just seventeen. West got his break in 2000 when he began working and producing for artists on Roc-A-Fella records. He gained recognition with this and the companies started approaching him. He’s become popular in producing career, but his aim was to be a rapper. He started working for the same. Companies first rejected him but in mid and late 2000s, he became a successful rapper.
Personal Life
In 2002, West started dating Alexis Phifer, a designer. In 2006, they both got engaged. But soon after they parted their ways. In 2012, Kanye West started dating his long time friend and actress Kim Kardashian. Kim and Kanye got engaged in 2013 and married on 24 May 2014. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has four children and they decided to stop at this factor only. Their last child was born in 2019, through surrogacy.
