Businesswoman by profession, Ivanka Trump is Donald Trump’s daughter with his first wife Ivana. She worked under his administration as a senior advisor and director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship. She was the executive vice president of the Trump Organization and also a boardroom judge on her father’s TV show “The Apprentice”.

The 38 year old has been married to Jared Kushner, son of Billionaire Charles Kushner for more than 10 years. The wedding took place on 25th October, 2009 at the Trump National Golf Club. About 500 guests attended the wedding and it was an extravagant affair.
Ivanka had started dating real estate developer, Jared, back in 2005 after having met through mutual friends. After dating for a while, the couple split briefly in 2008 but go back together and married in 2009. They have been blessed with three children Arabella, Joseph and Theodore.

Reports say that the ring was designed by the couple themselves and that Ivanka actually wanted something simple and understated. Although it is not surprising for fans to learn the fact that Ivanka had designed her own ring, keeping in mind the fact that she once owned a jewelry business of her own.
The ring features a 5.22 carat D Flawless, cushion cut diamond on a diamond encrusted band and is expected to have costed upwards of $500,000. The exquisite piece of jewelry seemed to be a perfect fit for the heiress and later First Daughter, even though fans consider the price to be quite modest.
Fans had also noticed that Ivanka without her engagement ring after her marriage on multiple occasions and gotten curious about the reason behind it. When asked during interviews, she replied that there was no specific reason but simply that she was a new bride and had not yet gotten used to put it on every single time she removes it and that the ring was sitting safely on her bedside table.
It is also possible that like many other married women do, Ivanka doesn’t prefer wearing jewelry during work as it might get in the way and instead finds it easier to keep it somewhere safe.
