Let’s begin with the game’s opening. The game has an amazing opening with engaging gameplay. The game will take you to the haunting party approaching a herd of woolly mammoths. The more you pull one down the more you gain the basics knowledge of combat. After the hunt you are weaponless and separated from your party, therefore you’ll have to collect resources including hardwood and slate as to make a bow and arrows. This will help you in learning crafting which is the another key component of the game. For staying alive you’ll have to hunt for goats which is the another mandatory skill you need to know throughout the game.
Another best part of this game is it’s brilliant interlocking system. This game of hunting, crafting, collecting plants, saving allies from attacks, befriending specialist characters and conquering enemy outposts all these are fed into one another. These interlocking helps in improving your character’s abilities.
Talking about the drawbacks of this game then the first thing that I would like to point out is it’s weak story. This part of the series lacks in giving a great story as this game pushes to the background. This drawback is not a very big issue for the players as the gameplay just cover it all. But the players should not expect a memorable narrative from the game. Apart from all these things the game has the best addition of tamed animals.
