We all have been waiting so eagerly for the upcoming Marvel series Loki. Created by Michael Waldron, we get to see the mischievous Norse God back in action. The story is based on the Marvel Comics sneaky trickster, Loki. The plot of the series is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The events in the series happen simultaneously with the films of the franchise. The story shows the aftermath of the film Avengers: Endgame (2019). In the series, an alternate version of Loki has manifested a new timeline. The series is being produced by Marvel Studios.

Loki: Plot
After tricking Thanos and stealing the Tesseract during Avengers: Endgame, Loki is transported to a mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA) organization and their Time-Keepers. After that, Loki is compelled to fix his several mistakes that hindered other timelines he broke. Now all this mess has trapped him in his own crime thriller.
The series is set after Loki steals the Tesseract during the events of the first Avengers movie in the Avengers: Endgame. Loki uses Tesseract to transport himself away from the Avengers which led to the creation of an alternate timeline from the main MCU films.
In the series, Loki travels through time using the Tesseract, to change human history. We will see Loki exploring an entirely new part of MCU. We will finally get answers to our questions, “what happened to Loki after he picked up the Tesseract? Did Loki make any friends at all? And will he ever get the ending that he so deserves?”
Loki: Cast and characters
Tom Hiddleston will return in his titular role as Loki. Loki is Thor’s adoptive brother and also the god of mischief. Loki’s character is inspired from the Norse mythological deity. This Loki has made a new timeline in the beginning of Avengers: Endgame.
So obviously he does not know anything that happened during the Thor: The Dark World or Thor: Ragnarok. We see a new side to his character in these two films before he dies in Avengers: Infinity War.
Owen Wilson will be joining MCU as Mobius M. Mobius. Mobius is a member of the Time Variance Authority, a vigilant organization that keeps a check on timelines and multiverses.
Mobius’s look in the series is inspired from the Marvel Comics editor Mark Gruenwald. Grunewald was Marvel’s top continuity expert. All the members of TVA in the comics are considered to be a clone of Gruenwald.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw will be playing the role of Ravonna Lexus Renslayer. Ravonna serves as a judge for the TVA.
Wunmi Mosaku has been casted in the role of Hunter B-15. She is also a member of the TVA.
